The Power of Employment
Employment Services
Employment services help connect people with disabilities with employment opportunities and skills training. Imagine the Possibilities creates an integrated community for all. Over the years, Imagine has successfully placed many people at various work sites in their communities. These opportunities are designed to offer supported employment to individuals who have both the desire to work in an integrated work setting and employment abilities for these settings. The two main goals of these services are to give individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting. In addition, Imagine offers job coaching to individuals who desire or may need additional support for their overall success.
Employment Services at Imagine the Possibilities consist of the following Community Employment Services (CES) categories: Job Development (CED/JD) and Employment Supports (CES/ES). All Community Employment Services are accredited by CARF (Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
Small Group Employment, also called Enclaves, is a part of Employment Supports. In enclave employment, individuals perform tasks with necessary work skills and require less supervision.
Job Coaching, which is also a part of Employment Supports, is a program designed to offer supported employment opportunities to individuals who have a desire to work, and the abilities related to the work setting.
Job Development is a service designed for individuals with good work skill capabilities but who do require assistance in job seeking skills, work ethics, and support. This service helps individuals seek community employment and earn competitive wages in a job that matches their skills and interests. These individuals receive training in areas such as completing applications, writing resumes, and completing job searches.
